Consultant
Location:
Stamford, Connecticut
Position Objectives:
- To deliver high quality professional consulting services working with
multiple clients.
- To act as the overall
project manager for projects he/she sells.
- To take a lead role in developing new services and products.
- To take an active aggressive role in new business development.
Experience:
- Minimum
of 7 years of experience in non-IT management consulting, preferably with a
major consulting company.
- Demonstrated
experience in maintaining and extending client relationships.
- Some
demonstrated experience speaking to groups as well as possession of excellent
writing skills.
- Strong
technical experience in cost reduction, reengineering, process improvement,
productivity improvement, and/or organization design.
- Demonstrated
experience making promotional and sales calls as well as writing and
presenting proposals.
- Past
experience with Enterprise Wide System implementation, strategic planning and
business transformation would be assets but not mandatory.
- Strong
manufacturing industry experience working with Fortune 1000 clients.
- Experience in working throughout the value chain across different
functions.

to undertake travel regionally and within the United States (60% to 70% of
time away from home)
- Prefer
candidates that are, or will locate, within 40 miles of Norwalk,
Connecticut.
Education:
- A minimum of one undergraduate University degree. The undergraduate degree should be in an applicable
discipline (preferably but not necessarily engineering, business or
technical field).
- A second university degree in business administration would be an asset.
